What if observing nature was a competition?
Introducing the City Nature Challenge! The City Nature Challenge is an international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife in cities. This annual four-day global bioblitz is at the end of April, where cities collaborate to see what can be accomplished when we all work toward a common goal.
There's also an element of competition. Each city is trying to gather the most observations. Help us beat San Antonio and Dallas!
Join us on April 4th, 2026 for a special presentation by Rachel Grotte, a Texas Nature Trackers Biologist for TPWD, as she demonstrates how to join the City Nature Challenge and use iNaturalist while contributing to conservation.
No reservations necessary. All ages welcome.
