How does this work?

It's free and easy! Call 512-667-8440 and your driver will take your name and give you an ETA.

On a schedule? Call in advance and set up a preferred pick-up time!

What time can I get a ride?

Ride with us July 4th 8am-10pm*

Service will begin at 8am on Saturday morning and end at 10pm. Last call for return trips is 9pm. The shuttle will not leave you behind, but there may be a nominal fee if service extends past 10pm.

How do I get back to my hotel or car?

Same as the pick-up! Just call 512-667-8440 and the shuttle will return you to your hotel or car.

Can I get a ride on Friday night or Sunday?

Wimberley Shuttle will be providing service on Friday night for a fee. Sunday service TBD

Does this cost anything?

Visit Wimberley, your official City of Wimberley Tourism Office, is providing this service COMPLETELY FREE to guests of approved area hotels. Tips for your driver are always appreciated.

Where can I ride?

The shuttle will take you to a variety of locations around Wimberley, including the downtown square, Market Days, Neon Armadillo, the VFW Rodeo. Rides outside of the district are at the driver's discretion. See below for links to some of Wimberley's most popular attractions!

How long will I wait for the shuttle to come get me?

Typical response time is 5-15 minutes, depending on your location and how many ride requests are on deck.

How many people does the shuttle fit?

The shuttle can accommodate 11 passengers. This may be a single large group or multiple small groups.

What kind of shuttle is it?

Be on the lookout for a silver Mercedes Sprinter at your pick-up location.

Visit Wimberley is pleased to announce a pilot program offering FREE shuttle service to guests of select area hotels that fall within our HOT lodging partners (as well as Market Days shoppers July 4th). From 8am - 10pm, leave your car behind and call or text 512-667-8440 for a ride to various locations around Wimberley. Drop-off locations are limited to the city limits to ensure fast & efficient service, but we aim to accommodate requests to the best of our ability.

Traveling with your fury friend? Wimberley loves pets. Just let us know and we will arrange a private ride, so you don't have to leave those fur babies behind!

*Call ahead to schedule a ride in advance or check in when you are ready, because vacation time is your time!

  • The Leaning Pear - Check out their new patio overlooking the Cypress Creek!
  • Pioneer Town - Ride the Pioneer Express Train, grab an ice cream or a day pass for Blanco River access! (passes limited)
  • EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens - The home of Butterfly Festival and the Trail of Lights. Interactive Exhibits and Veteran's Memorial Garden.
