Bird Behavior Hike with Travis Audubon

Join Travis Audubon's Shelia Hargis and Hays County Parks staff for a bird behavior hike at Jacob’s Well Natural Area in Wimberley. This hike will last 2.5 hours during which we will walk approximately 1.5 miles. The natural area encompasses several habitat types, including mixed oak–juniper woodland, savanna/prairie, and aquatic and riparian habitats. Along with year-round residents, we may encounter early late-year arrivals such as kinglets, Hermit Thrush, various sparrow species, and overwintering warblers.
Admission and parking are free. Ample parking is available at the Jacob’s Well Natural Area parking lot C. Registration and more information at the Travis Audubon website.
